Is It Possible To Get Pregnant Despite Of Having PCOS?
I have pcos but I have been trying to get pregnant for the passed 8 months. My obgyn put me on letrozole and I get a shot every month. Last month I had to put a hold on everything cause I had to have surgery Iv been feeling very moody lately and my breasts have been sore so I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it is positive could it be a fluke? Or should I call my ob?
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Positive pregnancy test indicates hCG hormone and the results are positive if one is pregnant or is taking exogenous hCG injection. If you are not taking hCG injection, then positive urine pregnancy test indicates pregnancy. However, if you are taking the injections, then you should stop taking any further injection, and repeat the urine pregnancy test after one week to confirm. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
